Fishing forecast remains unchanged. Hot weather and perch action to match. Best depth 20-40 FOW. Fishing for “silver fish” has also been good, with a mix of steelhead, coho, and kings. The sweet spot is 60 to 80 FOW down 25-50 feet. As always, spoon and dodger/flies working best.
Bass, browns and catfish are biting near NB breakwater and piers on jerkbaits and ned rigs. River water temps rising quickly, so upstream deep holes are the best best — live bait under bobber.
