Michigan’s Longest Yard Sale

August 11 - August 13

August 11 – 13, 2023: Michigan’s longest yard sale held every year during the second week of August is on U.S. 12 from New Buffalo to Detroit. The highway, the nation’s second-oldest, stretches along an old Native American trail. It is one of 16 Michigan Heritage Routes, designated by the State Legislature to preserve its historic highways.
